At the Eden Sessions festival in 2018, Björk wore a colorful, structured beaded dress over a shiny black bodysuit.
Created by Romanian fashion designer Lana Dumitru and architect Vlad Tenu (the two collaborate as Foraeva), it reinterprets a traditional Romanian rug, which the duo digitally reconstructed using more than 25,000 Swarovski crystals.
According to their website, which includes detailed 3-D renderings of the gown, it took a team of 15 people nearly six months to assemble it.
